Creative Ticketing with Wristbands

The event industry moves fast. They are quick to adopt new trends and new ways of working. They are also experts in dealing with and organising large volumes of people. If you’ve ever been to a festival, conference or other big event, you’ll be familiar with queuing systems and blockages that can form at entry points. You may also be familiar with scrabbling around in bags to locate a ticket from a stack of other papers. Or worse, you may have been in a position where you have inadvertently thrown it away. The problem with traditional tickets is that they are hard to identify in the midst of other papers and post, especially if they are issued months in advance of an event. They are easily mislaid or thrown away, and, it could be said, that they are a little boring. If you have event coming up consider using wristbands as an alternative and creative ticketing solution.

Five Reasons to Use Wristbands in Place of Tickets

1. Visual Appeal

Wristbands looks great. They’re colourful, creative and visually appealing, all of which will reflect positively on your brand. Our silicone wristbands can be fully customised with your brand colours and we can incorporate your artwork. There are lots of styles to choose from including printed, debossed, and glow in the dark bands. As well as identifying customers at the point of entry, they are often worn after the event, thus increasing brand exposure. The more creative the band, the more likely customers are to wear them and share them via social media.

2. Reduce Admission Times

Because wristbands are worn, they are much easier to display at entry points. This is unlike tickets, which have to be located first in bags and pockets. This can save a lot of time, especially at large events. Wristbands are also easier to identify by admissions staff, especially in dimly lit areas.

3. Less Likely to be Lost or Thrown Away

How many times have you misplaced a ticket prior to the event? Paper tickets blend in with other paperwork and post, whilst wristbands stand out. Wristbands are less likely to be lost or accidentally thrown away.

4. Secure

Because of their physical nature and design, wristbands can be harder (and more expensive) to replicate than traditional paper tickets. However, if security is key, then we also provide secure, custom printed Tyvek® wristbands. Made from high quality, durable material these wristbands cannot be removed without breaking the seal. They are provided with or without tear-off redemption tags and each one is sequentially numbered.

5. Provide a Memento

Wristbands are likely to be worn after the event has taken place, which creates maximum exposure and increases your brand awareness. They also act as a memento or keepsake of the event and are something that attendees can keep hold of for years to come.
